The patent

DOUBLE FIT

The orthopedic footwear for post-operative walking was created through a patent that allows its use from the first day after the operation, this patent is based on the double fit given by the use of multilayer insoles.

Thanks to the DOUBLE FIT patent, the patient can use only one shoe that will accompany him from the first days after the surgery until when he wishes, in fact the new DOUBLE FIT technology can support a foot that is still swollen, edematous, bandaged or sore.

We have studied a shoe made with technical materials that allow you to walk and protect the intervention area thanks to a memory rubber that adapts to the pressure of the foot and the bandage, we have also patented a new solution for the fit of the foot with bandage, thanks to a double zip placed on the side of the lacing, which allows the foot to enter quickly and comfortably.

The design has been studied to adapt to contemporary costume to re-enter social life in all respects, in fact in the planning particular attention has been given both to the technical aspects and to the physical and social rehabilitation of the subject.

FOOTBED

For the first 20/30 days after surgery, the footwear of the operated foot will not wear any insole, while the non-operated foot will wear the insole 1 which will allow regular walking, since the difference between the shoes is minimal so as not to damage the joints. .

After the first 20/30 days we can insert insole 2 on both feet, if the swelling is still evident it will be necessary to wait for the operated foot to deflate. In any case, even in the absence of the insole 2, both feet are in the same divisional plane and this allows walking comfortably without straining or forcing the foot.
